Commissioned Work
A painting isn’t simply made — it’s invited in.
A commission is a quiet collaboration, a shared spark between your vision and my hands. It’s where your story meets the old textiles I work with, and where emotion, memory, and intention begin to take form.
Every commissioned piece is created with the materials that define my practice: antique linen, hand-mixed oil pigments, layered textures, and elements that carry time within them. These surfaces hold history. They shape the work as much as I do.
No two commissions are ever alike. Some arrive boldly. Others whisper their way into being. You bring an idea — a feeling, a memory, a palette, a space — and I listen. To you. To the material. To what wants to emerge.
How to Commission a Piece
Send me your inquiry directly.
Share your thoughts, the mood you’re drawn to, or the space the artwork is meant for.We begin with a conversation.
This can be a short message or a more detailed exchange — whatever feels right. I’ll guide you through size, palette, textile options, and timelines.Once everything feels aligned, your commission is confirmed in writing and an initial deposit is made. Only then do I enter the creative space needed for your piece.
The making begins.
Slow, intentional, layered. A process shaped by instinct, material, and the story behind your commission.Your finished work is delivered with care, ready for the life it will begin in your home.
A Note on the Process
I work in deep focus, and I protect the quiet that this kind of art requires. Once a commission is confirmed, I enter the studio with full presence and devotion. This ritual of slowness is part of the work itself.
Commissions are accepted on a limited basis and often scheduled via waiting list, so early inquiries are always welcome.
If this resonates with you, reach out — and we’ll begin the conversation when the time is right.
This is slow art, made with presence.
