This painting came out rough, fast, layered, interrupted.

Parts of it feel loud and almost collapsing into each other, while other areas pull back into silence. I worked over sections again and again, leaving drips, breaks, and traces visible instead of cleaning them up.

For me, Maskball is about the roles people wear to survive — socially, politically, emotionally. The masks we choose. The masks forced onto us. And the moments where something real still breaks through underneath.

I never wanted the painting to become “perfect.”
I wanted it alive.

Residual Structures

This work moves through layers of space, memory, and dissolution.

Drips, interruptions, and vertical movements create a sense of gravity and flow, while colour fields open and close spatial depth.

The painting developed through a process of building and partial removal, allowing traces to remain rather than fixed forms.

What emerges is a surface that holds instability — where structure becomes visible, but never fully resolves.

The work exists in a state of transition, carrying both presence and erosion at once.

It resists a fixed reading and continues to shift depending on distance and perception.

This painting was created in response to the pressure we are living in.

Systems that claim stability are showing strain. Freedom is being tested. Control is tightening in subtle and not so subtle ways. The surface may look structured, but underneath something is shifting.

In Fault Lines, I built strong architectural forms and deliberately pushed them to the point of fracture. The cracks are intentional. They represent the moment when pressure becomes visible — when what has been compressed for too long begins to break open.

Not every rupture is destruction. Sometimes rupture is necessary. When freedom is restricted, when voices are narrowed, when truth is managed, something has to give.

This work holds that decisive moment.
The instant where tension becomes force.

Coils of Unspoken" arrived in one long exhale—oil on antique handwoven linen from around 1900 (100 × 70 cm), the surface already carrying its own quiet stories before the first stroke. I didn't plan the spirals; they rose instinctively from the canvas like something long held back finally twisting free. Layers of gray, pink, yellow, green, and deep blue collide and blur, thick impasto marks catching light where the coils loop and rise—fragile, insistent, alive.

This is not decoration. It's the felt shape of what we bury: questions of control, silence that screams, energy that refuses to stay knotted. The antique linen breathes with the paint, its weave adding grain and memory to every gesture. Painted raw, abrupt, honest—the way emotion actually moves when no one is watching.

About the work:
There are moments in time that burn themselves into our souls—bright, flickering, and fragile, like embers glowing in the dark. This painting is my exploration of those fleeting memories, the ones that refuse to fade completely.

The deep, dark background is a vast unknown, a space where past and present blur. Against it, bursts of crimson, soft violets, and golden yellows ignite like distant lights—remnants of something that once was, something still lingering. I painted this with oil on linen, layering textures and gestures to create a sense of movement, like echoes of an untold story flickering in and out of existence.

This piece is about remembrance, about how even in darkness, there are traces of light—unfinished, unspoken, yet undeniably alive.

Echoes of Rebellion began as a feeling I couldn’t shake — that tight, inner restlessness when something in you refuses to stay quiet. While painting, I worked fast, letting instinct take over. Lines were broken, gestures interrupted, colors collided: crimson against electric blue, yellow cutting through the noise. None of it was planned, and that was the point — rebellion doesn’t follow a sketch.
For me, this painting is about pushing back against whatever tries to contain us — expectations, rules, even our own habits. When you stand in front of it, I want you to feel that same pulse: the friction, the energy, the possibility that comes from not obeying the “should.”
Every mark is preserved in oil on linen, layered with hand-mixed pigments. Echoes of Rebellion is not about destruction — it’s about claiming space, disrupting the quiet, and remembering that freedom often begins in the moment we say “no.”

About the Artwork:
The Shape of Silence explores the thin line between presence and absence — how emotion can take form through movement and color, then slowly fade again.
The work is painted in oil on linen, a surface that allows depth and softness to coexist. I built it up in thin layers, letting each one dry before adding the next, so the light could move through the paint instead of sitting on top of it.
The composition developed intuitively. I didn’t plan the shapes — they appeared gradually, like something emerging from the dark. I followed the tension between light and shadow until the painting started to find its own balance.
The title refers to that quiet space after sound — when something has been said or felt, and only the trace of it remains. It’s about stillness, memory, and the calm that comes after intensity. And sometimes Silence is so much needed…

About the artwork:
"Soft Interference" is painted on handwoven linen from around 1910. I love working on old fabric like this — it already carries time, traces, and tiny irregularities that you can’t fake. The surface responds in unpredictable ways, and instead of fighting it, I let it guide me.
I didn’t approach this piece with a clear image in mind. It grew through small decisions: adding a line, interrupting a shape, softening one area and pushing contrast in another. The linen absorbs the paint unevenly, creating these gentle disruptions in the flow — little “interferences” that became the core idea of the work.
For me, this painting is about letting the process stay open. It’s a balance between control and letting go, and allowing something to emerge that I couldn’t have planned
